Guest Experience Specialist
About the Role
The Guest Experience Specialist is the foundation of our member experience at The People's Bathhouse, ensuring every visit embodies our commitment to Omotenashi (wholehearted hospitality) and maintaining the pristine environment our members expect. This role combines meticulous facility care with genuine member engagement, creating the clean, welcoming space that makes Embrace North special.
Time Commitment
- Full-time position: 30+ hours per week
- Must be available for a range of shifts including mornings, evenings & weekends.
Core Responsibilities
Facility Excellence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all Embrace North spaces to the highest standards
- Oversee public cold spa maintenance
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Create and continuously refine cleaning and sanitation systems for staff and members
- Manage inventory levels for cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Conduct routine facility inspections and address issues proactively
Member Experience
- Greet and check in members with warmth and professionalism
- Educate members on safe and effective facility usage
- Build authentic relationships with our community
- Handle diverse situations with grace, empathy, and problem-solving
